I received a BFA from Herron School of Art (IUPUI), and have lived and worked in Indianapolis for most of the past 30 years. My work seeks new ways to examine existence. I use the process of painting to generate new imagery. These intuitive findings resonate with surprisingly meaningful, and often specific interpretations. I also make assembled and additive sculpture, which I build in a similar exploring manner. Recently I launched IndyBAM (Bike Art Messenger), a series of mobile art displays which run on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. I am particularly interested in translating personal studio ideas into public art projects.
